Let’s see if we can resolve the issue by examining the three simple questions. 1) What does Class78 stand for? Nothing of real significance. It does NOT stand for the poor vs. the rich. It does NOT stand for red vs. blue. It does NOT stand for East vs. the West. It does NOT stand for local Taishanese vs. Taishanese aboard... It has no real agenda (to set people to do this, or that, we had enough of this crab in our school days). You are free, if you like it participate. If you don’t like it, walk/run away. Help me here, where does this rigorous bitterness/hatred/jealousy come from? Are you having agony over nothing? The Class78 network really does not stand for much. If anyone thinks he/she can make a living, or gain advancements from the Class78 Network, you are wasting your energy. 2) What is holding Class78 together? Nothing much. It is mostly a bunch of chit-chats, remembering our school experiences. Come to think of it, we are all closer to death than birth, so we don’t even have much time remained to share the experiences. Simply put, whoever is generous to pitch in some money, to host a diner event/celebration, I would come, enjoy, and thank him/her for doing it. No one can brain wash me onto anything. Thank you JasonK, Becky, plus many others have pitch in to host such events, I/we appreciate it very much (Hmmm…thanks for all the yummy foods). For those who have hard feeling toward JasonK, Becky etc on the events, are you willing to host a similar event, and invite us to come? Hey, I am cheap, when there is a good free diner around, without brain-washing agenda attached, I come. Why are there someone in Class78 trying to screw it up, and deny us the opportunity? 3) Where does Class78 go from here? JasonK (Becky, plus most of the Class78 members), thank you for your generosity of pitching in, and holding the network together. Please don’t let the episode stuck in your mind. In all honesty, I never really expect such a network to exist. For those who don’t like your contributions, just don’t invite them to come, or let them hold a counter event (The more diner events, the better). If these stupid bickering continues, let’s go private. I can come to do such a Class78 re-union once a while, by excluding these few bad apples. |
