增距镜是长焦镜头加长焦距的常用附件，1.4增距是在原有镜头焦距的基础上乘1.4，比如我的600mm的镜头，加了1.4增距后便变成840mm焦距，当然光圈也因此缩小了1.4，相当于我原来的4光圈变成了5..6，画质也会因此而降低；但是，因为距离太远（和鸟的距离），很多时候不得不加增距，特别是全画幅的相机。
