As with any guessing game, the fun will diminish and the riddle will ultimately be solved if too many clues or hints are given out. Yes, my user name Lums stands for 林氏. I should have called myself DL_Lums (大嶺林氏). To be a bit more creative, I could have gone with Lumsman, which stands for 林家子弟 and at the same time is the phonetic translation of my my full name in Cantonese. There is a 1940's American novel titled "You Cannot Go Home Again", which echos the universal feelings that after one has left his small hometown to live in a sophisticated metropolis for years, it is almost impossible for him to go back home to his family, to his childhood dreams and joys, to his adolescent foolishness, or to his youthful glories. Because everything is changing constantly . But who said you cannot go home again? Faith, childhood dreams, and friendship forged in our youthful years last forever!!! Have you ever heard the story of Moses and Israelites wandered in the wilderness for 4 decades before they finally reached the Promised Land following the crossing of the Red Sea and Exodus from Egypt? Here is my home and I have finally found it after over 3 decades in the American wilderness. At least in my heart it is so. Thanks to those who built it!
