重温二——星衢体育馆奠基
<p> 4月23日下午，台山侨中举行李伯荣先生捐建的星衢体育馆奠基典礼。参加典礼的有台山市市委常委、常务副市长李健慈，人大副主任关泽锋，台山市人民政府副市长黄国忠、刘征，台山市政协副主席谭国渠、郑大有，台山市政协委员、捐建星衢体育馆的李伯荣先生的代表甘炳棠先生以及外事侨务局、教育局等领导，侨中校友会、各单位的代表，全体教师，高二级学生1000多人。<br /> 大会由台山市教育局副局长朱英炀主持。奠基仪式分3批嘉宾进行。奠基后，甘先生分别与嘉宾合影留念。礼成鸣炮，彩纸纷扬，喜庆的场景，引甘先生驻足观看。此时，掌声雷动，师生们由衷发出感谢李伯荣先生和甘炳棠先生的欢呼声，甘先生双手抱拳，面带微笑向所有为体育馆奠基付出辛勤汗水的师生握手致谢，合影留念。<br /> 台山市华侨中学星衢体育馆为李伯荣先生捐资550万元人民币兴建的一座多功能综合型体育馆，位于学校正门大道右侧，高18.4m（分两层），建筑面积3409.5m²。该馆首层面积为1672.2 m²，包括一个能容纳300人的学术报告厅和一个可放置23张球台的乒乓球室。二层面积为1737.3 m²，可用作2500人集会的礼堂，或作9个羽毛球场、4个排球场、1个篮球场。该馆建成后，将为创建国家级示范性高中增添重要的场馆设施，实现百年来女师——侨中学子的梦想，成为新世纪侨中校内标志性的华侨捐资建筑物。为纪念李伯荣先生先父，乃用其号星衢名之。<br /> 李伯荣先生曾经说过：“支持家乡建设从不后悔。”他秉承先父李星衢先生的高尚情操，对台山的建设做出了巨大贡献，至目前止，李伯荣先生在家乡的捐建项目已达50余个，捐资金额超过1亿港元。</p><p align=center><img src="http://www.tsqz888.com/UploadFiles/2009/04/26/04265157582.JPG"
